NaTHNaC launches travel health webinars

NaTHNaC is introducing a pilot series of webinars in 2018 covering common travel health issues.

The webinars will cover dilemmas posed by some common clinical queries to the NaTHNaC Health Professional Advice Line.

Hosted by Lisa Ford, NaTHNaC Clinical Advisor and Hilary Simons, NaTHNaC Senior Nurse, the webinars will take place on:

Thursday 12 April:
Thursday 19 April:

Time: 14.30-15.00 GMT

The webinars will help listeners to:

  • Know what detailed information to gather during the consultation to inform the risk assessment
  • Locate resources and use them appropriately to support the risk assessment
  • Identify and discuss the issues involved with the traveller to enable them to make an informed choice and decide how they wish to manage the risks identified

Participants need to register for each individual webinar.

Numbers who can join are limited to 100. Registration is available on a first-come first-served basis.
